Our Depot Star Cherry is a FWD Gold Award FINALIST
We are very proud to announce that Civan Atta (a.k.a. Cherry) our Enfield Cashier Team Leader, has been shortlisted for an Award!
The FWD Gold Medal Awards are held every year to celebrate the best businesses and people in UK grocery and foodservice wholesale.
Cherry has been shortlisted in the ‘Depot Star‘ category.
“Since Cherry joined JJ Foodservice three year’s ago, she has been instrumental in adding value to JJ’s business, both in our Enfield branch and in neighbouring branches”, said Group General Manager, Terry Larkin.
With a background in food and drink retail at supermarkets Aldi, Morrisons and Sainsbury’s, she has brought a strong customer service focus to JJ, alongside an outstanding level of team management.
Through up-selling items, encouraging customers to buy more on promotion, introducing them to products they’ve never bought before, and suggesting alternatives if an item is out of stock, she has retained loyalty among regulars and attracted new custom.
This summer Cherry won our ‘How Did We Do’ Google Reviews campaign after receiving almost 200 Five Star Reviews from her customers.
Always going the extra mile
“A favourite among customers and staff, she goes the extra mile wherever needed to ensure the customer journey is seamless,” added Terry.
JJ Foodservice has been shortlisted for two additional Awards at the same event in the ‘Service to Caterers‘ and ‘Digital Innovation‘ categories.
The winners will be announced at the official Awards evening taking place on November 28 at Old Billingsgate, London.
On top of this fantastic news – JJ Foodservice has also been shortlisted for five additional Awards this year which include two IGD Awards (in the Supply Chain Excellence and E-commerce categories), a Foodservice Cateys Award (in the Supply Chain Excellence category), Product Excellence Award (for Double Crunch Super Crisp Chips) and the CTCA (Council of Turkish Cypriot Associations) Awards.
The results will be announced in the coming weeks so well done team and fingers crossed!
